Heartwood Place

Selling Chocolate Bricks is a great way for everyone in our community to support Heartwood Place. “Small Bricks” @ $2 each or “Large Bricks” @ $5 each are a delightfully delicious way to raise money. Sell them in your classrooms, to your colleagues, neighbours and friends. Have a great and tasty time helping Heartwood Place provide more affordable housing in our region.

Affordable housing affects all of us even though we not may realize it. Without affordable housing in our region we could not have a thriving and culturally strong community. Businesses cannot attract and keep employees without affordable housing for them. It provides stability and keeps employees on the job.
Without your support we cannot continue to provide our region with the help it needs in creating affordable housing. This is a constant challenge until every person has a “place to call home”. Help us make this happen by selling “Chocolate Bricks”. Here are some other examples how everyone can participate

Retail

Buy Some Bricks can be suited to a “point of sale” campaign. Your customers can buy Some Bricks at the check-out and take home an attractive promotional item.

Schools and Service Groups

Buy Some Bricks not only enable you to have fun while raising funs for a charitable organization, but also educated students about the issues surrounding affordable housing. This program can be adapted to every educational level. We will provide curriculum topics, fundraising ideas, promotional items and guest speakers. However, we do encourage that the students come up with their own fundraising ideas to help promote learning about affordable housing issues.

Restaurants

Link Buy Some Bricks to a feature-of-the-week and contribute $2 to our campaign each time a customer orders that entrée. Your customer will take home a promotional item to remind them that they have helped create affordable housing and you will receive recognition as a generous sponsor.

Host Buy Some Bricks

Host Buy Some Bricks and help us create more affordable housing. Through this program you will increase your exposure for your business/ organization or individual recognition that exemplifies the generosity in our region. You will also receive recognition on our website, on signs and in the media as a caring and concerned sponsor.

We will provide you with the tools and support to make this program a success at your location. Our Staff and volunteers can help you design a program that suits the requirements of your business / organization.
